A FIELD TEST
TESTING THE GOLD EXORCIST
By Jim Klein
Quite a name isn't it. At first I thought the machine would scare the gold out of the dirt and that would certainly be something new for prospectors and miners to add to their gold getting outfit. Which reminds me of something that happen to me years ago. I was prospecting in the mountains north of Los Angeles in Southern California. I was carrying my dry washer in one arm and my bucket and shovel in the other while walking along the edge above a dry creek bed, looking for the best spot to set up my equipment. From the moment I entered the canyon I felt like I was being watched. It wasn't a good feeling either. It seemed like whoever was watching me was angry and didn't want anyone there. I kept looking around; as it seemed there were a lot of eyes on me. All of a sudden the bank gave way and I fell about 5 feet into the creek bed. As I lay there face down in the sand and gravel the only sound was the gas running out of the blower for the dry washer. That meant that there would be a long hike back to get more gas and since I was a little banged up from the fall, my day of dry washing for gold in that canyon's creek bed was done. Later, I found out that the canyon had been the scene of an Indian massacre and was said to be haunted by the angry spirits of the murdered Indians. I believe them, but let's get on to more worldly things, The Gold Exorcist. It is entirely of this world.
Accurate Metal Detector's, Ron Coen, the inventor and manufacturer of the Gold Exorcist sent me one of their prototypes to test. It was not the most attractive unit I have seen but you know what, that's what we look for, it's results that count with us. We want you all to be successful prospectors and gold miners and that means making sure you are aware of the latest devices and methods that will help you succeed in finding and recovering all the gold you can. Since more than 90% of the gold your getting, and the price of gold going sky high that very fine flour gold is really important. Ron said he is getting The Gold Exorcist parts professionally and by the time you read this the new, sleeker, more attractive Gold Exorcist will be ready for you, but again that is not important. The real question is does the Gold Exorcist work and how well does it work. Let me tell you, I was surprised at the result of my testing. I get a lot people saying they have developed the best gold getting devise ever. Most of the time they are stretching the truth a little or maybe over stating the facts somewhat. Ron Coen is very excited about the Gold Exorcist, so much so, I was a little taken back when he was telling me how good his machine is. First off, it is an electrostatic separator. Simply said an electrostatic separator creates an electrostatic charge that grabs the gold and attracts it to the trap. Electrostatic gold dry washers are not new. I bought one of the very first ones over thirty years ago. The first guy that started selling them really gave us a line of bull. I remember he said that he went out in his back yard somewhere in the mid west and got a half an ounce of gold in a couple of hours. Now seeing that most of the states in the mid west are not known for having a lot of gold that was the kind of statement that anyone with gold fever would find irresistible, including yours truly, me. Fortunately, I was not in the position at the time, (having 7 kids and just trying to keep shoes on their feet), to purchase one of his machines. It turned out it was only one of several scams he pulled and after being chased around several states he was arrested for fraud and sent to jail. Even with all that I never lost my desire for an electrostatic separating dry washer. I did manage to get a little windfall and bought one from a well-known manufacturer for seven hundred dollars, at the time a great deal of money. Still is as a matter of fact. My wife never let me forget about that $700.00 thing in the garage. It was and still is a great dry washer, but I soon learned that electrostatic separation ceases to be effective when the riffle tray gets loaded up with material and it becomes a gravity separator just like all dry washers, but The Gold Exorcists is not your regular dry washer.
The Gold Exorcist has solved that problem, but goes beyond that. Ron is an expert on laser technology and he has developed The Gold Exorcist based on technology similar to that found in laser printers. He calls his method of gold recovery a filter system, in that it filters out the gold from the other material in the riffle box and draws it to the bottom of the tray. There it is caught and held as long as the air blower is running and causing the gravels to flow down through the riffle tray. Once you turn it off and it stops blowing the electrostatic charge is stopped, and the gold is released and can be removed from the tray. The Gold Exorcist works just as easy as a dry washer but is much more effective.
The Gold Exorcist weighs only 12 pounds, so it is very portable. It can be assembled and running in minutes and is easy to operate. First, you classify your material using either a 1/8 or a 1/4 inch screen. Than pour it into the hopper and watch it work its magic. I used a blower going 150 MPH and it worked perfectly. At first the material I was washing was moving so fast that I was afraid I would lose the fine gold, but after clean up I was proven wrong. Accurate says that you can run approximately 20 tons of classified material a day through the Gold Exorcist. I didn't feel up to that and besides, I don't know where I could store that much gravel, but after watching The Gold Exorcist run I don't doubt them. Maybe out in gold country you might want to try that. Let me know if you do.
My testing showed that an amazing amount of fine gold was gotten and it caught the fine gold right at the first riffle. This proved that no gold would be lost even when feeding it rapidly and trying to overload it. It just worked too good to beat it. This is one machine I would trust to work my concentrates one time and not have to pan out my tailings to be sure no gold was lost. I was very pleased with every aspect of The Gold Exorcist and recommend it to you. To find out more about The Gold Exorcist contact: Accurate Metal Detectors 800-662-
